Sarah H. Jenkins RDH, BSDH
Sarah Jenkins has been the primary instructor at NGSODA since it began in La Fayette 7 years ago. Prior to becoming a hygienist Sarah became a dental assistant the hard way: coming in off of the street with no prior dental knowledge. At 19 years old she knew there was more for her in the field of dentistry. She graduated in 2001 from Wallace State College in Hanceville, AL with her AAS in Dental Hygiene and then from East Tennessee State University in 2007 with her BS of Dental Hygiene. Sarah began working for Dr. Mc Cary when she moved to Georgia in 2002 and together they have been helping others learn the basics of dental assisting. Sarah and her husband Joel have 2 girls, a cat and a dog. In this picture you see her doing one of the things she loves the most, PULLING TEETH!! Even if it is at her grandfather’s 80th birthday party!
